has anybody got a set of mk4 4motion wheels on a mk3 gti?
i would like some pictures as im looking at buying a set for mine, i presume they will fit straight on?
-
You will need to change the tyres as mk4 tyres are too big.
-
They should fit fine seeing as the PCD is the same, im not to sure about the offset though on those particular wheels.
-
Are these the ones you're getting?

I do'nt know what the wheels you mention look like but if they have centre caps that cover the bolts you may find that the rears need spacers as the caps hit the wheel bearing cover and wo'nt fit as they are.I only found that out when i tried to fit mk4 GTi wheels on mine, plus the tyre profile was too big !.

I tried these one's :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-golf-mk4-Alloy-wheels-1998-2004-GT-15-Alloys-tyres-Avus-/150661515041?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET&hash=item2314204721

yes thats the ones, will they fit and look smart on a mk3 gti with 40 profile tyres?

i think the centre caps may cause same problem as i had with the mk4 gti one's on the rears.PCD is the same though, not sure about the offset.

Try them they should be fine, if not then a 5mm spacer will be needed.
