hey all,
bit of a crisis, my mot is up tomorrow  and my reverse lights arent working. Checked the bulbs, there fine, checked the fuses and there also fine. this leads me to believe theres something wrong with the sensor, and i would look to see, if i knew where it was!! im assuming its in the gear stick mechansim but i cant see it. Any help on this or other theorys would be greatley appreciated. Also could anyone tell me if reverse lights are even a requirment of the mot??
thanks folks
mike

Reverse lights arn't checked in the MOT.
To get mine to come on I have to put it into reverse then pull the gearstick back slightly & the lights come on, you could try it

The reverse light switch is found on top of the gearbox, it's quite likely that you have a poor contact on the connector or the switch has failed. Normally wiggling the switch and spraying on some contact cleaner will cure it.
