-
no got a few people on the case shouldn't be long i'm hoping
finally got the switch so its just a matter of time i even went to wayside to find out how much a new one was but ran out of the parts dept screamin at the quote of £222
funking havin a joke
just for a bit of bloody wire
-
FOOK, no way, a good auto electrician could make you one up for pence. Why not ask Dizzzie
-
i want to run them from the correct switch
so ideally i want to connect them to the big round connector above the rad
i could do it but I'll need to know which of the many female connectors are the fogs live
if anyone has an electrical plan of this connector that would be good or i could just spend an hour with my electric circuit tester find the wire that becomes live when i turn the fogs on
oh yeah what bulb do the fogs take
any ideas dave16v
cheers jay

i was looking at mine today, there is places on that loom for fogs to go with proper switch ,if you knew what you were doing. if you have connected the switch you will see that all lights, around switch are working, which means power is going somewhere. all that is needed issome wires to connect to blank bits on loom and 2 vw mk3 light connectorss
-
switch is working fine with the front fog 'on' light coming on i think i'll have a look tomorrow and see what i can do
cheers for the info dave

If you wanted someone to source the parts and do the work for you then i would recommend PW Auto Electrics in Chesham. Speak to Paul. He's done a fair bit of work on my car, including the fogs. All top quality work too!!!

looking good mate

where did you get your headlights and spot lights from m8?
