Title: Air Filters

 Has anybody out there fitted a K&N panel filter to a MK3 16V. And if so - were there any significant improvements, or am I throwing away £50. Ta very much.

halfords are doing them for £24.99 at the minute. and there is a slight improvement in throttle response(although you will find this is debatable). when i had my last service the garage threw mine away and i noticed immediately. luckily it was clearly labled so they had to replace it
