Some say let the paint 'gas out' and leave it a month.

Some say its ok to polish seal and wax if the paint has been baked.

I ended up with blisters in the paint on my old sunroof panel - I waxed it soon after it was painted. Lucky it was just a spare!

Ah thanks nice to know. Yep paint is getting baked on so might give it a week or two then seal and wax

dont put any product on it, although time scale for this does vary, i was told 2 months, use a wax-less shampoo and a detailer, to let the paint cure, then get it mopped, i think its ok to polish as it doesnt seal anything in, so the paint can still 'breath'

leave it well alone for at least 1 month.. i left mine for 2 as its a soft paint.

should not need to be mopped..

Reason its needs to be left is down to the thinners in the paint that need to evaporate. when this happens the paint shrinks.. sealing and waxing this can mess up this process. does vary on different paints tho
