Title: 020 gearbox

afternoon all rite my gearbox seems to click in reverse,from what the searches i have done seems to be a tooth broken on the revers idler,i have been given another box but the selector shaft is  jammed stuck in 3rd .can i just take mine off of my box and put it onto the other one or am i clutching at straws lol,all help appreciated cheers brett

I cant see why you cant make one good box out of two, if your confident in rebuilding the box.

Ive got the dodgy reverse but so far hasnt caused me a problem.
