Depending what year your car is you will need to upgrade the DV valve. Other than that as long as the car is healthy you shouldnt have any issues with a simple stage 1 remap.

A stage 1 remap will only take into account the stock intercooler, the tuner will run the car richer at the top end to proctect components  from thermal heat build up.

The FMIC will improve efficiency not bhp. Waste of money doing just on a stage1, but if your planning stage2 then get it fitted.

Make sure your coilpacks have been replaced under the recall too

Otherwise its just the uprated DV and some super go-go juice and hello funtime

What remap have you chosen out of interest?

Theres nothing "wrong" with Revo, just dont expect a 60bhp gain, more 40bhp. All the tuners in my sig will do a remap for considerably cheaper than what AMD will charge you.

i dont get the vote button as the question is not a question

I think he just got himself in a muddle as it was his first post. Wouldnt let me remove the vote though.

im going to assume it's "shall i get a remap without upgrading the fmic" and vote yes

furthermore, if you are in south-wales area - gie Rhyso (Kinetic Tuning) some sereous consideration. he did my GT 140 a few weeks back and i cant rate it highly enough

If you fit a FMIC and good induction kit you'll be well on your way to a stage 2 map.
