Title: Can you insure a car that is not owned by you??
Post by: nickvw on 15 September 2011, 08:46
Basically i was thinking of buying a cheap mk3 gti as a runabout for 6 months and my mates has offered to let me use his if i just insure and tax it.

I tried swift cover and adrian flux yesterday and neither will insure me because i'm not the owner or registered keeper.

Has anyone done this before?
