Title: Mk4 R32 gone but hopefully viewing a Mk6 gti tomorrow!

Just thought i would say a quick hello  :smiley:

Been on the forum for a while now, had a mk4 R32 for the past 3 years which i loved but i sold it last week due to the urge for a mk6 gti  :smiley:

I might be looking at a 59 plate steel grey 3 door tomorrow with a bit of luck, sooo excited i'll let you know how i get on!

Good luck with the viewing. It will be interesting to hear what you think of the mk6 compared to the R32. I've always been a huge fan of the original R32 but have never even sat inside one.

I had a non-res milltek on the R so the noise was awesome and will be missed  :cry: but as said i wont miss the 21mpg average.

The dealer should be ringing me back this morning to confirm the viewing as it will be around their closing time when i get down from sheffield to chelmsford so asked if he would stay back an extra hour.

Couldnt get a decent enough rate on the finance due to outstanding balances on credit cards from my wedding afew months ago so decided to wait until after christmas when i've cleared the cards  :rolleyes:

Just bought a mk3 gti to put me on for a bit.

Yes, very sensible. The mk3 will be cheap motoring whilst you get yourself straight. Mk6's are coming down in price all the time and after a few months with a mk3 the mk6 will seem almost as good as an R32!!
