Okay!
I have just completed my beautiful vento conversion.... it looks great but!... the guy i bought the front end of sold me an old vento headlight with an old style plug, my 1997 golf has the correct plug for one of the headlights but not for the other, i thought simple, and bought an adapter, unfortunately the adapter was for people putting new headlights, with new plugs, on older cars, im putting an older headlight on a newer car... being limited on funds, how would you sort this problem, is it possible just to cut the plug and solder the wires onto the metal tabs in the plug soccket of the headlight! help please as the earlier nights are reducing my driving time....
Thanks!

I have some adapters at home I could be persuaded to part with. Suitable for converting from older headlight to newer car.
