Hi,
What's the best air filter for a VR6 ?
Can I use a K&N or do these mess up the MAF sensor as they're oil based ?
Cheers
Baz

i have a k&n induc on mine and it runs sweet, also at 4000 rpm it sounds brutal

BMC CDA if you can afford it! Otherwise K&N or Piper-X would be fine.

£16.50 and you can have my K&N induction kit as its only sitting in my garage doing nothing! For that price if you dont like it you can either chuck it away or keep it....Or even sell it on Ebay!
£16.50 will include first class recorded delivery.
I must say it makes a fantastic noise over 4,000rpm! I would also put a direct air feed to it. I took one of my fogs out and put a bit of mesh in there. Sprayed the mesh the same colour as the car (Dragon Green) and have a direct feed from the.....Works wonders!
Pic of my direct feed from outside......

I still have some mesh left over so can make a bit up for you if you want

Pipercross panel filter is better as it is dry (un oiled) unlike K & N so will not knacker your maf.
