Title: Temperature gauge/ stiff clutch pedal
Post by: Golfmadsi on 12 September 2011, 23:32
I have a Tdi 115. recently bought this an noticed the temperature gauge drops to cold when engine is at normal running  temparature, an the goes up an down, is this due to a faulty sender ?,

Also the clutch pedal feels stiff, has any of you dubbers out there had these problems or know a solution? thx guys.

Try a new Tempreture sensor in it first make sure you buy a genuine one there not expensive. If that dont sort it replace the thermostat again there cheap and pretty easy to replace in my case I had to replace the 2 but the tempretures perfect now sits on 90.Not sure on the clutch pedel though try googling it

definitely change the temp sensor - you can do this with a full coolant system if you're quick... careful if it's hot though.
give the clutch a bleed to see if that helps, although the cylinder might be failing
