Title: JBL amp dead, need a new one!
Post by: Shady Pioneer on 12 September 2011, 21:36
My trusty JBL 1004e 4 channel amp died completely tonight, after the RCAs came off of it I decided on soldering them back in, which worked, but now they are truly f**ked.

So I need a new amp. Budget is about £165, needs to power Infinity components in the front, and a Infinity sub in the back. components can handle 90rms and sub is about 225rms I believe. Any help?

I do like the JBL amp, although I don't want it on my sub this time, as that's why it broke in the first place. Ideally I'd like it on a bracket to the left of the boot but I'm rubbish with DIY.

bassjunkies.com are doing a club day this weekend, with discounts on all their stuff, considering where you live it might not be possible to attend, lol, but check out their website and see if you can get anything off their for cheap

Was thinking, can amps be mounted under the rear seats?
