oks i am thinking of doing my alloys Anthracite-gunmetal when i refurb and got some Q's
1 - how many cans of paint and laquear well i need to do all four wheels
2 - were can i get them from the cheapest, ie any good sites, etc
3 - also are there different colour Anthracite-gunmetal paints?
4 - if you have done your own in gunmetal got any pics if there are different colour Anthracite-gunmetal paint and which you used

i noticed in one of your other threads you have tt comps so i thought ide post up some pics of mine as there in anthracite gray. ( looks lighter in the pic though for some reason _

mine were refurbed by a proper refub shop though (previous owner got them done) they have a small glittery sparkle in them too which looks the dogs danglies imo
cheep places for paint, halford seems good, know a few people that have got paint from there they used about a can to a can and a half on each wheel.

they look good, cant wait to sort my TT's there fobard need mucho love hopefully this well give me a bit of motivation to do stuff on it, like my headlining wanted to do it for over a year just keep putting it back

anthracite is abit different to a few gunmetals, rover gun metal grey is almost silver, nowhere near anthracite

Yer, just been reading up on it. Think ill just use halfords anthracite seen a tt in that and looks ok

don't use halfords paint, its sh!t, find a local paint/bodyshop suppliers and get it from them

Ended up doing them in a Rover colour "Rover Amethyst"

im not sure what shade of anthrecite mine are, but i did ask for them to be high glossed, they look mint! (apart from a curbed one 2 weeks later)

Four layers mate wet sanded last layer so its a bit more mat plus not the best shot of them
