Post by: JC on 11 September 2011, 19:25

Hopefully you won't be waiting too long for the first nice man in a van  :undecided:

And when he confirms what you already know that a suitable wagon turns up  :undecided:

154,000 miles of wear and tear.  Half of which have been mapped.........

Chuff have a giggle on me.....
The nice but not helpful lady at the aa wouldn't listen to me when I told her the turbo is gone and I need a low loader to recover me home. She sent a van who took 2 hours to come.... And looked under my car before phoning up for a low loader. Thankfully he towed me to a maccy d's so I can eat while I wait 3 hours for the lorry.....  :lipsrsealed:

Post by: Steve_PD on 12 September 2011, 00:43
whats the point EVERYTHING on this car has now been replaced since I bought it.
Dont see the point in selling this and buying another car for 10K+ just to put 35k a year on it. In 2 years time Ill be in the same boat am in now.
Only reason Ill sell this is if I get a job closer to home and then I dont need a car so a toy will be bought

I would have got home quiet a bit quicker but it would still have been on the back of a AA van

Nah - with much lowering comes much bad karma.

You would have driven home with a higher ride height.

Maybe but I need to drive to work so no car = no money so when it breaks it gets fixed.
You do 700 miles a week in your car for 30 years and we'll see how long that lasts

I thought you was running a stock map as you managed to lock the Powergate tool which can only be done when the ecu has been set back to stock?
