is it right that the bulbs for clocks etc cost 1.50? im sure they cant be that much
-
Depends where you buy them. Halfords charge about £1.50 for them but dont bother cos they dont even fit!
-
Should only be £1 from your local place. Take in the old ones to check the fitting as there are several that look very similar. Also be careful fitting them as the bulbs shatter occasionally if they are not the original Osram versions. Take your time!

I've not been successful in finding some dash bulbs down here in Cardiff, but that doesn't surprise me, you can't even buy the right locking wheelnuts in our local GSF.
Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells them over the net? I can see how much punishment my engine is getting but not how fast I'm going....
Mind you, my speedo is way off anyway. Needle moves as soon as you start rolling, it shouldn't until you hit 10mph! Oh well.

You can get the LED bulbs at ultraleds.co.uk , or any motor spares place should have them, but you will need to ask. THey usually keep them in a box behind the counter as they are too small and get lost! Take your old one to check you get the right fitting.

i paid 1.60 per bulb from my local volks service so if you want me to get you a set just send me the money and i'll put them in an envelope for you

If you can find some in a scrappy, they normally let you have them for free. I found 8 only 2 worked!!!
