In the middle of installing a newly purchased HID kit, going well so far...
Just writing to ask about the other bulbs, cause the ones I am replacing with the 8000k 'white' bulbs will look different to the rest of the normal yellow lamps. Are there replacement bulbs for the others in the head light to make them all look the 'white' colour? CHeers

Arer you talking about sidelight bulbs? If so then yes you can get LED versions which will give a whiter light.
-
All of them really. After fitting today it was one half white light the other half (side lights and full beams) yellow light. Are there any special ones I should buy or will fleabay do?

Is this the sort of thing I would need to install to make all my lights 'white'. I bought a HID with ballasts, what is the difference exactly between just swapping bulbs and putting in ballasts?

Don't confuse HID style bulbs with HID kits they are two separate things. The bulbs just give a whiter better light than the standard halogen bulbs. HID kits (with ballasts) give an even brighter light (300%) and is fitted on new vehicles.

I thought as much! Appreciate the advice! So I have a HID kit for my normal 'dipped' lights, then if I replace the rest of the bulbs with HID style bulbs then I will get an all white light look? Cheers

You can get bi-xenon HID kits which come on with your dipped and main beam. Most kits are just dipped. But yes once you have sorted out a kit you should only need to replace your sidelights with LEDs.
Remember to get your HIDs properly aligned and something like 6000k should give a nice whiteish light with a slight bluseish tint.

Thanks mate, I was going to mention these. The kit I bought the other day the bulbs are all really blue and do not match the HID kit I have! Really unhappy with it.
You reckon if I get the LED SMD bulbs for all the others it will look the business?
