Title: Wash wipe failure

Simultaneously both rear wash wipe and tailgate sensor fail to work. Have checked correct fuses so far as I can tell.  Was working perfectly until last week.
Looking for help.  I am a newbie but the 2.0TDi GT goes well!!

It's a 2007 plate, Mark ??
