Title: Grill help.... what colour....Pics inside!
Post by: Godzilla on 09 September 2011, 08:24
In need of some help here people!

I bought a de-badged grill off stainsey last night (Top bloke!) and am now wondering if I should leave it pretty much the way I got it or spray it the same colour as my car being dragon green.

To show the differance of how it looked before and after.......

Before.....

Mate you will never get aproval on here about anything chrome trust me I been slated loadsa times lol.

Its your car mate and if you like it that's all that matters. If we all did the same thing to our golfs they would all look the same.
As I have said many times before I got into vw,s as you can do pretty much anything you want to them and its all about being diferant.

Do what ever you want to it mate as at the end of the day its your car and if you like it do it.

That is a serious offer mate!

I quite fancy that and therefore would be a real waste to paint over the chrome.

It might sop me putting gold mesh on my car!

I like the chrome bits myself, not OTT imo.

Just one other thing though,a bit OT but any idea why there is a bigger gap between the top of your passenger side headlight and bonnet than there is on the drivers side ?.I only ask as i have same problem, even though the bonnet is flush to the wing
