Hi All
Just bought some UK legal (for now) pressed plates.
Don't like the plastic surrounds & don't really want to drill them, so what's the best way to fit them????
Cheers
Lee

All I could get today was some body trim tape.

Know a few people that use velcro. then when its show time take the velcro off the bumper to reveal a perfectly smooth bumper. and non of them have lost a plate in over a year

I used velcro to attach pressed plates to a mk2 i use to own. Ran them for over a year without any issues

Go into Halfords. Forget the rubbish on the shelfs and go to the parts counter and ask for number plate sticky pads. Cost either £2.49 or £2.99 depending on thickness and are brilliant. Takes a damn good pull to get them off.

I had to use a combination of number plate tape from Halfords (stuff with the green backing on) and No More Nails type stuff (Actually called "Sticks like sh*t" because the bumper is straight in the middle, but off centre is curved, meaning the stiffness of the metal plate would always pull away at the side from the number plate tape.
They certainly aren't going anywhere now!!
