Hi,
I'm hopefully going to get a 1995 mk3 8 valve GTI & have seen some nice wheels for it. The wheels are Calibre Vintage 17" X 8" et32. would they be the right offset for the GTI and what size tyres would be best as I want to lower it on some coilovers.
Which brings me on to my next question........
Are FK AK Street coilovers any good ? They're only about £220 & I realize that you only get what you pay for. or would I be better of going for the FK Highsport one's for £400 ?
Any help much appreciated.

205/40/17 or 195/40/17 would be the best size, you will need to trim the rear arches a little.

The offset is fine. FK coilys are good enough for a daily, running 17" rims at 8J yr probably only gonna get a max drop of 75mm on the front and 45mm drop on the rear so at them sort of heights the FK's will be sound

Cheers for the help.
I've read that AP coilovers are better, is this true ?
