Taxpayers Alliance?  They're funded by the Mail to provide quotes like that in the article, aren't they?

Stuff like 'expensive aviation fuel' - errr, isn't it mostly cheap-assed kerosene?

Those pumas are all held together by tape anyway (as most military aircraft are), death machines.

I didn't realise pumas were in the falklands or held together by tape....strange that since I worked on them for 7 years.....

Fricking love it when people put petrol in their diesels. Means I get free fuel.  :evil:

Last lot was a MK4 TDI absolutely brimmed from empty with petrol.

I'll take that thank you. Pumped it straight into my Golf. Best 400 miles ever. :grin:

You didn't see them in the time I did then. Tape all over them holding bits on. Maybe you worked on the HC1 for 7 years during the cold war era  :tongue:
