different engine.. they're 16v i believe ? maybe 20v ? anyway they need the extra 15bhp to drag their lardy arses about :cool:

Yep they're 20v - I think our good friend Mr. 6 had one.    :wink:

I think they must be detuned though to fit into the product range, cos the old Mk3 2.0 16v was 150 ponies.

Is the 2.0 130bhp as used in Passat and A4

1) a fettled version of the 2.0 115 in the Golf?

or

2) an enlarged version of the 1.8 20v -

Why did vw make my car a 2.0 8v?????
When they made 1.8 20v engine and a 2.0 20v for the passat.

Why didnt they just scrap the idea of my engine and made mine 20v to match?????  :cry:  :undecided:  :huh:

cant afford to at the moment mate, thats why iam changing my car next year.  :sad:
