Dealers managed to mess up all the screw holes on mine when they fixed the alarm unit.
Having words tomorrow but bet they say it was not them.

Everything they have touched on this car they have screwed up!  :angry:
To say im angry at the moment is an understatment.
First i noticed the Door panel marked,
Then all jacking points sealer/underseal ripped off on all 4 of them.
Now this.

I hate the lack of respect for your/our valued possessions.  I know how you fell, sounds like the search for a better dealer.  I travel 80 mile round trip for mine now (for maintenance) and not the 3 mile away one.

Snoops: Your guys are such perfect idiots.
I think their jobs are timed too stringently and no common sense prevails. I had to show them how to replace the wet sponge with the help of your pictures.
They got my tyre pressures wrong. Inflated mine to 41 psi! I told them to get their equipment re-calibrated. Went down really well!
At least my Service Dept has never damaged my car. They are ultra careful.
They still refuse to accept that cornering fogs are possible on my BW8 2010 car.
At least, they are very respectful, helpful and valet my car FOC occasionally.
Small mercies.

I have the times they are allowed as they gave me the TPIs.
I have done their job and similar training to them in my youth as my uncle setup a large main dealership chain. I also have family and friends who are DSTs and Master Techs.
I have a few mates who work for the same dealership chain as my car went to and there fumming before i even show them the arch liner i found tonight.

Just got the car back from the main dealers after a day with a VW fox 55 1.2 :sick:

1: New wheel arch liner ordered at there cost. they are letting me fit it  :grin:

2: New door panel ordered at there cost to replace the one they damaged.

3: Sill jacking points brush painted with black underseal. (I will take a better look later)

4: Waste gate clip still on back order...

I gave them the part number of the part of the arch liner that needed replacing and gave them photos of it and they sent me both bits.

I don't believe it!   :rolleyes:
Just had a look at the sills.
They did the edge in black underseal were they lift on (stands out like a sore thumb when you walk towards the car but anyway)
The underseal behind it were the U lifting pad sits and the OEM jack also lifts on that they also broke through the underseal they left untouched even though i covered the holes in red paint so it could not be missed. FFS how stupid can people be.  :undecided:

I really feel for you snoopy.
I dread taking my car anywhere to be "sorted" as you just know it will come back with something else wrong or some ding somewhere!!

Wasting my time and days getting things fixed that they broke while fixing something else.
They replaced one thing (siren faulty so replaced it) and damaged 6 other things in the process. 1:6 ratio  :huh:
