I have found a lead on on my gti cab which comes through the firewall into the engine and then does not go anywhere. It seems to be just an empty pipe but with heat flux on the loose end.
Can anyone help identify what this is and where it supposed to go to?

Hi,
That's a Vacuum hose that connects to the back of your clocks in the dash where it will measure the vacuum to produce info like MPG on your MFA Display. It should be connected to the same vac circuit as that yellow one I see in your pic, I don't recognise the yellow one, where does that seem to go?

Cheers mate that would make sense as there is no mpg readout, i will check the yellow lead on monday when i get the car back as its currently having a service.
