Title: mk2 front big bumper-painting

i have just bought a 90 mk2 16v, in excellent condition other then the front bumper ,which paint has started to flake off! :(

is this a common problem? or did the previous owner get too keen with his pressure washer?

how much to repaint bumper as a guide

For paint to flake of the surface it has not been prepared properly, A good motor factors will match & mix an aerosol so prep and paint it yourself..

Matey matey had a full guide to bumper painting a while back (I think!) which covered things pretty well.  Worth a look!
