Got some new wheels for my mk5 Golf with offset ET35
Looking to get some tyres for them with a slight stretch. I have already got 225 40 18 on my monza wheels and they rub at the front on corners/roundabouts etc.
So was thinking
Fronts: 205 35 18
Rear: 215 35 18
Or are these too extreme?

225/40/18's should clear all ok with et35.

Et 35 is a lot less conservative on the mk5 than on previous platforms.
