ok, after putting up with the smell of fuel in my car for long enough (and i don't mind it personally) i wanna get it fixed. I can't find a leak so just gonna replace it.
How much hose do i need to buy, it's on ebay for around a fiver for 3 meters including postage, i've no idea how to do this so any help/pics would be very
greatfull!

That hose doesn't look like it is braided, I think he is using the term braided to mean it is internally strengthed on the walls which all petrol pipe should be.
I would just go to your local motor factors and ask for some petrol pipe and get the associated clips with it, petrol pipe clips are normally better as they screw down further then a jubilee clip.
I would say get 3 metres worth, look under your bonnet and you'll see a return and a supply hose, remove each one at a time so you dont get muddled up and just use the old one as a guide to length for the new one.
Refit with a new clip and your done.
Hope that helps.

just a side note, the return hose in the engine bay should be blue, but they get so discoloured it'd be quite hard to tell the difference! scratch a bit and you'll see what i mean!
