Title: how much have you spent?

If it's not a rude question, what % of the purchase price of your car(s) have you spent on  modding them?

a bit of a silly thread really. I paid £1000 for my car 3 1/2 years ago. so over those 3 years I've spent about £10k. If someone bought a new car for £15k then their percentage is going to be low.

don't ask this question lol esp when someone has a project on the go!

I really hate to think how much gets spent on the car's example went and brought new clips for side trims for caddy today, that alone was £21.50!
best not to add things like this up if you ask me lol

well there was £1000 for the car. £900 wheels. £4000 engine. probably about £2000 on ICE. then all those little polished and crystal bits make up the rest. give or take obv

the local vag told us how much we spent just with them one year now tat was bad, so i really hate to think or know

Ive had my corrado since october.......total cost so far...about £2k (and thats just repairs  :shocked: :shocked:)

I can show my other half these posts and she might stop tyring to make me feel bad for the few hundred i've spent so far. :grin: Not told her abouth the eibachs i ordered this afternoon yet either. :embarassed:

about 40% on the mk4 in mods.. 15% in collated parts ready for mods on the rallye, but that's about to change drastically :undecided:

Lol, my old car i spent £400 on it and £400 repairing it........ Then scrapped it for free as there was too much buggered on it for the MOT and i didnt have the money..... :cry:

coilovers 200 quid
G60 arches 100
respray 1100


err i dont dare go into detail :huh:
