Title: Any bonnets out there??
Post by: maddog on 17 September 2003, 10:41
What can I say.....got back to my car last night to find some little **** had signed my bonnet for me with a key or such like.  I don't suppose anybody has a tornado red bonnet in the back of their garage doing nothing??  I'm in the Bristol area.  Thanks.  >:(

Sorry to hear that, what a ****.
You might be lucky and find one, but would it not be easier and cheaper to get yours repaired?

yep, i'm backing up the - repair it, and the crunts comments.

a new bonnet will never ever in your wildest dreams match your existing bodywork.

and its even worse when its red.

best to find the local resprayer and get them to work on the effected area and match to the existing colour.

it'll cost a bit more, but then you wont keep looking at your odd coloured bonnet, which will result in you having a small disdain for the car you no doubt love.

I would take it to a coachworks first as sometimes they can polish out scratches that look like a respray job. I think the guideline is if you can see the white primer showing through you know its pretty much paintjob time.

As for the little buggers, I would kneecap them, damage my car you get kneecapped, then when your old enough to drive you little scum you cant have the pleasure of a car. Even walking will be hard.
