iv just bought a mk3 8v gti of my sister who has owned it for a few years now, it has mot but no tax, 110,000 miles and it is unmodified, generally clean all over with no knocks or rattles, air con, electric windows, pas steering, clifford alarm and cd player. the best feature in my opinion is that this car is unmodified at all. standard alloys, springs brakes etc.
no bad points except for a slight scrape down the passengers side rear quarter. (will polish out quiet easy in my opinion, replacing the side strip will make it look 80% better)
How much would i expect to receive for this? would tax if at the right price.

As my last attempt at this thread got lost in the server change, here is a response to any "What is my car worth" thread.
(thanks to Mr Slick)
Here are a few tips.
1) go on ebay, search your car. Make a note of the prices.
2) go on autotrader, search your car. Make a note of the prices.
3) go on the for sale section, search your car. Make a note of the prices.
4) go on parkers, search your car. Make a note of the prices.
5) go to the shop, buy a magazine, search your car. Make a note of the prices.
6) go to the newsagents, pick up a local ad paper, search your car. Make a note of the prices.
Just so you all know, any threads that appear in the MK3 section from now on will be locked or deleted upon sight, that have anything to do with what's it worth.
