slamming your car will make it quite uncomfy to drive...mine is pretty harsh on sh!tty roads, shaking steering wheel...does this happen at certain speeds or all the time? probably worth getting your tracking looked at and getting your wheels checked for balancing to start off with.

coilovers is a bit of a misleading term. but basiclly on standard suspension you have a fixed platform for the spring to sit on, with coilovers this platform is adjustable so you can set the ride height however you want. thats pretty much the main difference between the two.

look at this link:

coilovers are the bottom set, normal ones are the top set, you can see the difference.......

get your tracking and tyres ballanced again.

Mine was out bigtime

and as your front is lower than the back you might find that the rear jumps/slides at roundabouts where there is a pot hole
well mine f**kin does

As said above in the posts the steering wheel shaking and feeling every bump in the road is down to the fact that you've dropped your car so much.

Because you've lowered your car so much your suspension is picking up every little bump and transfering this to you via your track rods as steering wheel movement. A normal height car has a certain amount of play or compliancy that your lowered car no longer has.

Coilovers are designed so that you still get a decent amount of suspension travel even when lowered dramatically that a normal macpherson strut couldn't give you, if you droped it 100mm on stiffer springs it would be operating against its limits and would have limited travel even on a shorter shock absorber.
