Title: For those wanting a good quality backpack for camera gear
Post by: T_J_G on 31 August 2011, 12:00
http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-kata-dr-467-dps-digital-rucksack-black/p1024035

I outgrew my LowePro little bag so went for this.

Received it today, for £55 + £3 next day delivery.

It's a cracking piece of kit, well made, LOADS of storage and most importantly looks good  Enough room for 2 DSLR's, about 5 lenses, flash guns/filters and got room for a large laptop. Plenty of padding for your gear (and your back). Can even by a trolley for it to go on.

Really chuffed with this purchase, now must stop buying new gear until I get a new lense and another flash gun & triggers

That looks quite good. Could be particularly good if you're out walking a lot.
Also good that it doesn't say "steal-me-I've-got-a-camera" on it, like anything with a Krumpler/LowePro/Canon/Nikon badge on does.

That's another plus point! Bel oading my gear in it tonight for shows over the weekend!

I went for a cheap unbranded bag for the exact reason of it looking like any old bag.

the crumpler bags do look really flash, the lowepro just look like any old backpack, obviously if you know the brand you'll know it's got a camera in, but this is the same with kata, tamrac etc
