I have mentioned this in earlier threads but fell on deaf ears methinks. i could do with a favour as i don't think my camera/guidelines are alligned as they should be, the most obvious symptom is when reversing into a parking space with white lines either side, if i use the yellow marker lines on the screen and get them perfectly between the parking bay lines the car is well over to the right (smaller space drivers side).
I don't remember this being the case when it was new, can anyone with a camera please check their's for me please? my car has to go back in for other work anyway so if this is an issue i can get them to fix it.
I'll get a couple of pics to show the extent of the problem.
Cheers

Hi mate, mine is perfect. When I fitted my RNS though VW thought that the camera would have to be re-calibrated via a connection to Germany!
How true that is I don't know but this did come out of the mouth of the Master Technician.
Hope you get it fixed mate.

Just off to work so can't search myself now but; I remeber seeing a thread on one of hte US forums relating to calibrating the camera involving some printed spots on the ground and I think some coding work.
Had my RVC fitted last week by Steve P and it appears to be 'spot on' alignment wise.
Let us know hoe you get on.

Just checked mine and it's spot on

Mine hasn't got any guide lines at all. September '10 delivery with RCD510, never has had them. Is it cream crackered or is it a new thing?
-
It should have lines like this: -

As you can see, using the guidelines i'm pretty much dead between the lines, if anything i'm slightly over to the left?

And this is how it looked when parked!
