Nice photos documenting it, but it would be even more interesting if you had some details along with the photos of what was done, where'd the rear floorpan come from, what's the engine, where's the 4wd system from, etc ?

That sort of stuff is interesting, and could be of use for people who want to do the conversion themselves.

indeed it is in the ad the floor was from a 4 motion of which both floor pans were carefully unpicked and spot welds drilled so they could be re-welded to the original factory spec, the subframe and diff are from a r32 and it is using kw variant 3 suspension. It has the transfer box from a audi tt also using the 6 speed box from a audi tt the cars 4wd is fully adjustable so it can run fwd or adjusted inbetween or upto a  maximum 50/50 split, the engine has been built up from scratch new rods, shells, pistons (forged items) any questions feel free to ask!

indeed it is in the ad ....

I hadn't seen the ad, I don't tend to look in the classified section often, it would tempt me too much

What's the engine? You say it's been built from scratch, is it a 1.8 20v block or a newer 2.0 block, cos you've got a 2.0 badge on the back and that got me intrigued

its a 1.8 block it had all new internals 35k miles ago replaced for forged items/uprated items where possible in the block and uses a agu head because they have bigger valves! the 2.0 litre badge was put on because it was going to have another custom made engine put in which would have been a 2.0 and its never been changed !
