Just a quick intro i have a 2003 black Mark 4 1.8T 180 now 65k miles, supposed fsh with full leather interior in original spec.

However the three VW service centres around the country used for the repairs and servicing since new have never changed the oil or plugs. Therefore have doubts on two supposed cam belt changes charged for.
Intend doing own repairs but just a little insight.

Any work done at VW dealers will be logged on their PC. Everything mine has had done I've been able to check by talking to the dealer. Give them a ring and see if they can verify any of it.
