Title: LED rear lights R/newer GTI/GTDs indicator question

If you have the indicators or hazard flashers on but no other lights does the edge of your rear lights also light up too. 
It also does it with the rest of the lights on. Its just it was pointed out to me at work the other night.

Mine's the same (factory fitted) and I only noticed it now that you pointed it out!
