Seems a stupidly low selling price...why?
Either something serious mechanically, or he's a numpty.
With a new respray, and if it was rust free, I'd bite his hand off. Everything else can be replaced.
My B reg 3 door red 1.3 (dry stored since 1999) is worth more than £499. :grin:

I paid 320 for mine t&t with 112k on the clock fsh, so that seems a bit expensive to me :lipsrsealed:

That could be turned back with original textured plastics etc
If the paints good then probably worth a project

:laugh: TBF it was a shed, no clutch, dodgy electrics and rotten as a pear. Some might take the view that I got stuffed. However, I prefer to think of it as rescuing another Mk2 from scrapheap heaven. :wink:
That and I couldn't afford a better one.
One in the link looks like it'd be worth a look. Does look bogging though in that colour, an opportunity to rescue another mk2 perhaps?
