Was the event given official support?
-
What's official? The free stuff for the raffle? The place it was organised?
-
it was a multi forum event, and i did ask the magazine people to give shout out's to the companies/forum that gave raffle donations.

We I did ask the freelance reporter to make sure the main forums who took part and supported the event got a mention, Golfgti, Uk-mkivs, R32OC ect, but when they go to press the main people have the final say on why goes in the mag.
I have not read it yet, but does it mention the reason for the event, ie the chairty involved? This is the only reason we hold the event each year it to help others.
But I will now kick a fuss up with Golf+ and make sure everyone and all 3 forums get an mention in the next edition..
-
It is the October one, i was reading it today. Saw Lens pretty face again.. I did wonder why there was no mention of Forums, only thing it does mention is Cancer Research as the Charity.
-
The main reason was mentioned and that was raising money for charity.
Below is what i sent to the photographer who passed the details on to the mag
Jon
