Only go for the iPhone if you're a follower and a sheep. Apple have lost it.
Go for HTC, the best you can get.

htc sensation suppose to be very good

Depends what you like mate. If your happy with using the phone as it comes out of the box, iPhones are great
If you are like me and rather flash the phone and use custom Roms and Kernels, then get a Android phone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S and using a Custom Rom called F1 and it is super fast, plus if you get bored or that, there are tons of different roms and kernels to use.

got my iPhone 4 on its release date, superb phone wouldnt have any other phone..
-
I have the Samsung Galaxy S2. Dual core processor so loads faster than the IPhone 4 and comes with 75% free Apps whereas the IPhone only has 25%. Does everything the IPhone does and also comes with the extra of HD videos. It's a great phone and loads more reliable than HTC. I know a few who are on there 2nd and 3rd HTC's due to reliability.

HTC is a load a sh!te proper crap end of really , Iphone all the way , there selling millons more than HTC beacuse its a better phone
-
end of the day its down to personal choice they all do the same thing more or less now anyway
-
As you can see everyone has an opinion on this as to what IS best. Remember, it's only their opinion and they find suits them.
Go into the store, and for the love of god DON'T listen to what the sales guy pitches and play with all the phones that look interesting and pick one you like.
Personally I'd get the HTC Sensation, beautiful 4.3" screen, awesome interface, f@cking quick and blows most others away.

You like taking pics of your car???
HTC Desire HD. 8million pix camera. We all know iPhone's take sh!te photo's.
-
HTC Sensation got it last week excellent phone HD camera 8 megapixel android is def the way to go also updates itself without having to plug it in to a computer like i phones. They have lost the battle now

When my phone was up for upgrade last month i was gonna get an iphone.
then saw the optimous 3d
in the end i got that. only thing the iphobe can do which mine cant is sync with itunes
things mine can do which the iphone cant. Iplayer app not available on iphone (can only get an app which is basically a link to the website)( though both phons have apps you cant get on each other) . play 3d videos. show 3d pictures. convert 2d pictures to 3d. Take 3d pics and video. flah player on the internet. hdmi slot.
possibly more but i cant think.
i love the phone and even onne of my mates who has a iphone said hed rather have mine
personal preferance though. go try out a few phones and see what you like

Is a good phone, just massive and the 3D is a bit of a gimmick. I wasnt overly impressed by it. Very quick though.

yepp have to admit it is a bit of a big phone, but doesent bother me, not asif your pockets are the exact size of an iphone and nothing bigger will fit in :D
and the 3D does take a while to get used to but once used to it, its pretty cool being able to watch 3d films and things like that. plus it can do all the stuff a standard phone like the galaxy s can.
-
I dont see why you would really want to watch a film on a phone?!? Rather have a tablet for longer journeys etc.
I use my phone for basic functions: calls/texts/emails/web/maps/music/taking pics
I think there is very little that seperates them, So long as it preforms them functions with ease them im a happy guy and for that reason I have an iphone 4, as Im always on itunes at work and love the ease of use.
Dont have a single complaint in regards to the iphone!
-
galaxy s2 ftw
-
Ive got a HTC HD7 and love it. My iPhone4 was a pile sh!te so sold it and got this, wouldn't ever go back. All our music at home is now done with Zune which we find so much better but at the end of the day it's all down to preference. Get what suits you best not something because everyone else has one

my Galaxy S is 12 months old, still happy with it, but i think i can upgrade now? if i do ill see about getting the Galaxy S 2 . just have to see how much money its going to cost compared to what i currently pay and if the phone is *free or not
* i know its not free because your paying monthly but you know what i mean.
-
Uprade? Is that Chinese for upgrade?
iPhone 4 is good, my first one was sh1t but my second one is ace
-
galaxy s2 ftw
+1

Got to be HTC.
Love the Windows Phone 7 OS. I went for the Mozart 7, plays music brilliantly, never freezes and the camera is brilliant :D
-
Glad to hear people who have WP7 actually like them, I might even jump off the Android wagon with my next phone...
wait till Win8 is out next year

Hang on for a little while if you want an iPhone 4, Apple are bringing out a cheaper iPhone 4. Basically the same phone but without the expensive, fragile and easy to scratch front and back panels. It will have plastic instead, so will be tougher, lighter and cheaper, but still the same iPhone 4.
However, if you have brain of your own, go to a shop and try some phones out.
Love my HTC Wildfire, works great, does everything I need, cheaper and smaller than an iPhone. But its all down to personal taste.

Oh really, when did Steve call you and tell you this?

Did no one tell you? He quit.
It is one of the rumours anyway. They may do it just as the iPhone 5 comes out so as to have a cheaper offering for customers who don't want to fork out hundreds on a brand new 5.

No, he stepped down
He is still working with Apple
