Got my 2 day ticket through last week...cannot wait for it. However...I am a little worried about leaving the car in the car park for 2 days

is it not just full of chavs and pill heads? lol i used to be into my dance music but was always put off going for this reason.

Why do you think I'm going? NOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
Yes and no really, I'm real into the trance side of it, in the trance tents everyone wants to make love to you cause there all so hi!! I don't take drugs and you can still have a good time! As for the chavs as long as you don't start anything you'll be alright...Just say alright mate back and tell em you did 45 pills in one go and they will love you.

Make sure you see Armin Van Buuren, by far the best trance DJ I've seen live
Creamfields is probably the most chavy of all the dance festivals, but as you've said there is rarely any trouble as all the knobs are too pilled up the eyeballs and too busy gurning & hugging people to start anything.
As for the car it should be fine in the car park, however I lost my front splitter leaving global gathering a couple of years ago
Also if your driving make sure you get a good amount of sleep and lay of booze & anything else a good few hours before you plan on leaving. The last thing you want is to get pulled or worse crash on your way home

I will be driving it carefully over the ground! As for the drive home...Sunday I don't intend to drink any alcohol, a night of red bull   That way if I get pulled there is no way I will be over the limit!!

The car was safe in the car park, just a bit of a problem getting in and out with all the rain!!

Last time I went to Download it pissed down all weekend and the car park was a bog, felt so smug calmly pottering to the exit in my Frontera with mud tyres while everyone was getting smothered in mud pushing their cars out

That's about the only time one could gloat about owning a Fucterror

I used to love Creamfields in its early stages. Some great Trance and hard Dance Djs.Saw Faithless live one year and they were awesome!
Used to live in the Tidy Trax tent as the music was banging.Would like to go again but im 30 and old and smell of wee now so will probably look out of place!

Don't believe the bullsh!t about Fronteras, some mud tyres and a 2" lift and they'll show up some expensive stuff round an off-road course, if they had difflocks they'd stay with Defenders! Mine was totally reliable too, not bad for a 300 quid motor. Pity about the 15 mpg average

disco is the cheep 4x4 of choice i hate discos but i hates fronteras more if yours was totaly reliable you must have been blessed with magical powers that made it reliable. most of them were utter sh!te

I'd say their more reliable than an early Disco, the electrics on those were horrendous and I've never known anything rot like they do. Not much to go wrong on Frontys, 2.0 8v engine from the Carlton is simple, tough and good for 200k, trans box and diffs are pretty strong although the diesels can bust diffs with the torque if you run AT tyres. Early ones had weak gearboxes but get anything '95 on and it should be fine, electrics are tough. Their almost as bad as Discos for rot though, usually round the rear leaf hangers, rear valance and sills, and the rad is a bit exposed so gets holed easily. PAS pump can be weak too, but mine did 15k with nothing but a service and a wiper motor, not bad for 300 quid. A Disco at that price wouldn't even have a test, and would probably be a V8. Awesome noise and torque but 15 mpg on a cruise and less than 10 round town...

Finally got the mud off today...so much happier!
