Title: quick question (double din)

would anyone reccomend this, the shops in my home town so if i had any problems i could take it back, my other choice would be a second hand decent one off ebay but with no guarentee

the one from your local store seems a steal at 300 as thats what your looking at for a decent second hand 1 so just depends what you want new or used atleast with the new one you could haggle to get free fitting :smiley:

looks like a quite good head unit, but there are lots more out there better or equal quality for alot less, i got a head unit that IMO is better and that was only £170, (got that in a sale should have been about £270)

personally ide shop around a bit more

if youre going to get a double din visable screen type unit make sure you at least do the de lock mod too.....

I didn't either but looks less attractive to someone viewing it parked up and you can remove the face to apparently make it useless to a prospect thief. It's your choice though  :smiley:

lol de lock the doors i thought you meant somet to do with the stereo lol :laugh: tbh if they want it they will just smash the window anyway :sad: my alarm works well and i rarely leave it anywhere but good advice,

another thing is i wouldnt trust the electrics in a mk4, can just see it now absolutly throwing down with rain and i will be stood there pressing a stupid button lol :drool:
