is it worth buying the cat back kit milltek twin non res from amd for 515.? i want a better noise for my gti but i didnt know whether if this exhaust is for me or i need a full exhaust system? cheers

...............standard GTI exhaust from dealers is around 330.00 quid if i remember correct. I got a cat back non res Milltek for under 400.00 off the net. :wink:

Also interested to hear on this. I'm considering fitting one of these along with a remap before the ring trip next year (car is standard mapped at present). Do these offer a noticeable performance increase when combined with a remap and air intake (already fitted), or is the main benefit the noise?

Then you are probably best going for the Milltek resonated system. The original design was a bit too quiet but they've modified the resonated pipe to make it louder without giving the boom that the non-res system has (I tried both on my car).
