Title: Coilovers/Lowering Springs Advice ?
Post by: Amzy-Bear on 21 August 2011, 21:39
Hey Guys.

Ive recently bought a MK4 GTI and it most definitely needs some slammage because looks tad silly and feels like a tractor.

On my old MK3 i went for springs and it was low but wasn't too uncomfortable, on an old polo was a bit bumpy on coilies.

Just wanted to know who's got what on they're car and why ? also how does it feel.

Any recommendations ?

Thanks

Depends on what you want, what the cars gonna be used for. hoe much you have ect

if the cars gonna be tracked out ide say something like eibach coileysborbsomething simelar.
if your only using it for road use as a family car decent springs anf shocks. if its not a family car could you put up with a little harsher ride? If so coileys or if your wanting to drop it really low cpileys.
