Title: vagcom how to ??

Not for a golf  ( a polo) but the keys have been lost and I am trying to determine the key (cut) code and immobiliser code .

where would I look using vcds and can it be gotten using the lite version ??

I know it probably wont program it but I have another  unit for that , its just the codes I need .

does the dealer have to provide the 7-digit PIN/SKC  and other relevant codes .

Thats what it says on the rosstech site but my local VW dealer (who were unhelpful) said they would need the car bringing into there workshop as all the info needed was in the cars ECUs etc

vcds can't retrieve skc numbers, something like vag tach or commander will.
