Title: coilover help

hiya peeps
I have a question.  At the moment I have a 1.6se and will in the near future be changing to tdi150. What I would like to know is if I get coilovers now can I change them from the petrol to  diesel later or do they have to be brought for the specific model
any help much appreciated
