Title: Cold start issue?

My 91 8v has had a cold start issue since i got a new engine 20k ago on on a cold start it takes alot of winding up before it starts but if it has been running for five mins and you switch it off to start again it starts instantly. Anyone know why?

Chances are the cold start valve is shot. Have a look in this section and search for "Cold Start" and it will bring up loads of info.
