Isit possible, changing a Golf Mk4 thats petrol, and shoving a Diesel lump in instead. Or is this a hard job to get done....
-
About as hard/easy as any other engine swap. But you'd need all the ecu management as well, plus gear box etc..
Best ask this in the MK4 section.
-
Begs the question, why not just get a mk4 diesel?
-
I have a Tdi, But I've damaged it, the engines fine. Hence I'm trying to think of different options.
-
So you have a petrol Golf and a diesel Golf?
Why not just buy a Golf diesel with a shagged engine, then swap.
-
I would if I could find one. And nah, I just have a diesel. Jus trying to find a way to sort it :(
-
What's your budget?
Quite a few MK4 tdi in the classified section. One up for £1800.
-
I have a very low budget, No point me paying 1800 when im gona be putting my engine in it....
-
You ain't going to get a Mk4 golf for much under a grand.
