I cannot stand red cars, they go pink. I've had three, never again.

I've had a couple of red cars and they've always stayed red, you obviously don't look after them properly.

Yep, lots of polish is needed, I will be honest and say I am not a fan of red cars however.

Nope, no such thing as not looking after it properly with regards to colour loss. No colour should just fade away. Like wayne said, lots of polish was needed, which I've not had to do to any other colour to retain the colour.

Thanks for all the comments people
I will say that the Jetta, the mk2 and my mk3 were all pink when we first bought em, but a quick machine polish soon sorted that out
If you keep up with em after a machine polish, its no problem keeping em red tbh

I know what you mean, I've done it in the past, but it's alot of molly coddling which other colours didn't need.

Every colour on a car will fade.. some just hide it more.!!
Red is worst for this, but if you keep it well protected it will never go pink

to expand you should look at one of these

Exactly, a few coats of a decent wax and it'll be fine
