I had mine in two days, the dockyards try and get rid of them to the dealerships in 48hours.  Depends how hard you badger the dealer.  They only PDI and give it a clean + tax and paperwork e.t.c.

Save both time & your car's paintwork by telling your dealer not to clean it/protect it  I think we can safely say they wouldn't know the 2 bucket method if it slapped them in the face!

Dealer rang me today and car has landed at my local port(Tyne). Dealer is only about 3 miles away. What is PDI, Pre Dispatch Inspection? and how long does it take?

PDI is pre delivery inspection (stage 17). So your in the bottom left of the delivery cycle (stage 15 to stage 20) on that graph above.
Delivery by Benfield by any chance?

I have had work done by both Silverlink and Scotswood road. Silverlink are far far far superior in my experience(mega understatment)
Since i had our other car in at Silverlink they have changed the valeting company they use so the issue i had i would probably no longer have. If i had known that i would have gone to Silverlink rather than Scotswood.
